Large lake of Monticolo

At the lake of the large lake of Monticolo, there is the lido. Sand beach and swimming pools are available for all the guests.

The large lake of Monticolo is located at 492 m asl. It covers an area of 17.8 herctares and boasts a maximum depth of 11.5 m. If you surround the lake on the trail in the forest, which by the way is really romantic, you overcome a distance of 2.2 km. At the lakeside, there is also the lido, which is an alternative to the emerald green lake, offering two swimming pools and a beach for adults and kids.

At the lake, there are also several places that exert a particular fascination. Now and then you can see jumping one of the sun-bathers into the lake from the few rocks that surround the waters. Another area is rather isolated and seems to be really popular for romantic summer evenings. The rest of the lakeside is lined by the circular walking trail that also makes it possible to take a bath in several places.
