Around 1650 Georg von Partold made sure that the manor took its present form. His father had been appointed aristocrat around 1609. He was then allowed to adorn himself with the title “von Breitenberg”. The manor was called the same.
For a long time the building remained in the family’s possession with female heirs being the women of the house. That’s why the owners changed their names over and over again. Today the Gutgsell family owns the residence.
Formerly the Ansitz Breitenberg consisted of a residential building and an outbuilding, which was later extended and today is the residential and commercial building. The manor house is still in its original form.
Special stylistic features: the typical stone frame of the courtyard gate, a spacious courtyard, the flight of steps leading up to the entrance and the loggia on beautifully decorated arches. You will also discover double arched windows, coupled rectangular windows, wall paintings and a coat of arms relief. The front of the house is curved, like the street (or vice versa).
