Mountain rescue

Even if in Appiano the mountain rescue won’t have much work, its emergency number is important for excursions.

Appiano is not really a land of mountains, but in immediate surroundings, there are some peaks that could be target of your walking tours. Those who go mountaineering in the Dolomites should, however, bear in mind the emergency number of the mountain rescue service.

By the way: mountaineering in the mountains of South Tyrol is a great experience, not only for the great panoramic view you can enjoy. Plan your tour carefully, wear mountain shoes, inform yourselves on weather conditions and protect the environs.
