Public transport

You can reach Appiano also by bus or train, that is to say by means of public transport.

Coming from Germany:
There are daily Eurocity trains of the DB/ÖBB from Munich and Innsbruck to Bolzano. Only a few steps from the station, there is the bus station, where you can take the bus number 130 to Appiano.

Coming from Switzerland:
Regional trains from Malles or Merano (Val Venosta train) stopt at the Ponte Adige station. There you can take the bus number 130 to Appiano. Take the bus number 130 or one of the city buses to the villages of S. Paolo, S. Michele, Frangarto and Cornaiano.

Coming from Verona/Milano/Venice
Various regional and express trains coming from northern Italy stop at the station of Bolzano. From this place you can take the bus number 130 to Bolzano. A bus ride from Bolzano to Appiano takes you about 30 minutes.
