Football

The football field in Maso Ronco has already been venue for a training camp of the national German football team.

Footballs is a very popular sports in Appiano. Both adults and kids keep exercising the whole year round for the next matches. By the way, football in Appiano is not only a man’s thing, also women exert this sport with enthusiasm. And of course also kids love this sports game. Open to the public is, however, also a football field in the sports area of the forest of Monticolo, even if it is not the one that used to be the training ground for the German national team in spring 2010. Nevertheless it is a field that is ideal for doing a great football match.

Further football fields can be found in Cornaiano, S. Paolo and in the centre of S. Michele as well as in every larger village that belongs to Appiano.
