Movies and cinema

Even if there is no cinema in Appiano, you can choose from the films offered in Bolzano and Caldaro.

Appiano is surrounded by a series cinemas of various dimension. The city of Bolzano offers several cinemas, two of which we would like to highlight: on the one hand the Cineplexx in Via Macello, on the other the Capitol, hosting the Filmclub. While the Cineplexx mainly offers mainstream movies, the Filmclub usually chooses less known movies, that is to say films that you cannot watch in all the cinemas. There are mainly films in German and Italian language.

At the village entrance of Caldaro, there is also a small but mighty cinema, which offers space for about 120 visitors. The “Filmtreff Kaltern” collaborates with the Filmclub of Bolzano and provides entertainment for adults and kids, but only in the weekends. A visit is nevertheless highly recommendable.
