Climbing in the surroundings

The surroundings of Appiano, so to speak the Bassa Atesina and Oltradige, provide a series of possibilities for those who love sports climbing.

Climbing gardens exist in the Oltradige, the Bassa Atesina and the Valle dell’Adige, in all possible variants. A very popular climbing garden can be found close to Trodena, at the Regglberg and Fontanefredde. On the opposite side of the valley climbers can scale the climbing gardens of Penon and Corona above Cortaccia and Salorno.

An alternative are the adventure is the adventure park of Caldaro and the high-rope course in Terlano.
