The little lake of Monticolo is located slightly higher, at 514 m asl, covers an area of 5.2 hectares and boasts a maximum depth of 14.8 m, that is to say it is deeper that its big brother. The shoreline, comprising 0.89 km, follows the motto “less is more”. Calm and tranquility in this place are of highest quality in this place. A little part of the beach is occupied by an idyllic bathing area, while the rest is available for those who would like to enjoy the lake and its merits.

The lido of the little lake of Monticolo, which does by the way not offer swimming pools, is open in summertime and provides a green lawn for sunbathing (subject to an affordable charge) with children’s playground. Trees provide shade on hot summer days.
